Cole Newman

I worked as a sales person for the LEGO store in Melbourne Airport. Here I learned how to build relationships with customers which lead to additional sales. I also learned about customer engagement to create a friendly environment, always giving top notch personal service to help boost sales. I also got to learn a lot about stock organisation as i would regularly enter the large warehouse and manage/sort the stock inside of it.

I worked at the 2022 BTV festival, I was originally hired as a staff coordinator at the main tent showing initiative in new work place environment. I had the experience to work in multiple other supervisor roles while at the festival as i showed good leadership qualities, over the 4 days of working these involved being Head supervisor for a Tent and then also being a Stock Coordinator in another tent area. With this I got to learn all the different fields of running festival tents.

I had been at the cinema for over 6 years and throughout my time there I have developed exceptional work skills with customer management, team building, supervisor experience and discipline in stressful work situations.

I was a supervisor for 4 years and it has helped me develop strong leadership skills which include, Team managing, higher level of customer conflict resolution and helped with additional dealing and coping in stressful situations.

The 6 plus years to this company also show how dedicated i am to the work place i am involved in.

Volunteer work in administrative duties, this job helped develop a lot of ground work and discipline to prepare me for a job as it kept me on hourly work and learning new things each week that I still apply today
