Summary

I started my career as a Registered Nurse and progressed to become a lecturer in a Ghanaian University. I started a PhD program in aged care nursing education in Queensland University of Technology in 2019 and submitted my thesis for external examination in April 2023. My research area is gerontological nursing education. My current research aims to bring about changes to improve aged nursing education in undergraduate nursing programs. I have 23 peer-reviewed publications in areas that include aged care nursing education, clinical nursing education, and post-operative pain management. I am currently an academic editor of PLoS ONE Journal. I hope to undertake my post-Doctoral programme by 2025. I have also worked in the aged care and disability sector since arriving in Australia in 2019.
