I like to think of myself as a hardworking dedicated young man driven by his goals. I show up for work on time everyday with my main focus being safety, of myself, my colleagues and everyone else on site.
I was an all round scaffolder. Weather we was doing commercial or residential work we was at the yard from the crack of dawn loading our trucks for the day ahead. I would then proceed to my first job with my crew and we would be erecting all kinds of scaffolds up and down the country week in week out. We worked a lot with tube and fitting, some cuplock and also Hakki for staircases and some loading bays. Living in the UK we also dealt with a lot of temporary roofs with this adverse weathers. I’ve worked on all types of jobs building various structures with all kinds of systems of scaffold I.e. temporary roofs, ladder beams, gantry, house wraps, sites, recycling centres e.c.t. I also have experience driving machinery such as scissor lifts cherry pickers forklifts.
I had the responsibility of driving the trucks (18tonne) and it was my duty to ensure the jobs where built to standards and everyone went home safe. Being a lorry driver means you’re representing the company, they have company stickers all over so your every move is representing the company. This gives you incentive to have some pride in your work and your every move.
