I am a hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills eager to secure entry-level Christmas Casual position with Ripcurl. I am a member of Northshore Boardriders Club and have been for several years. I have a strong passion for surfing, spending all my free time locally in the water. I am already an advocate of the brand with most of my casual clothes coming from Ripcurl and I have always bought from the store. I enjoy working with people and would be so excited about the opportunity to support the Ripcurl team over the Christmas holidays and beyond should the opportunity be available. I ask for you to please consider my application and give me a chance to prove the value that I can offer to the Ripcurl store. Volunteer Surf Life Saver

  • Supported members of the community by providing supervision and support during their beach access time.
  • Working with a team context to provide beach safety.
  • Assessing risk and making decisions and implementing actions as required to rescue members of the public from the water. I have undertaken one successful rescue independently during my patrolling shifts.
  • Setting up and Packing up protocols to ensure all required equipment is accessible and safely stored at the end of each patrol.
  • Participated in 6 hour shifts of active patrolling, rotating through positions including using watercraft, radios, patrolling in the ATV and undertaking beach and tower supervision.
  • Communicating with a diverse range of people attending the beach to deliver safety instructions, provide assistance and information.
  • Undertaking tasks independently and within the team context at the instruction of patrol captain.
  • Take initiative to undertake tasks and proactive actions while undertaking the patrol.
