As the Captain of my Oz-tag team in the all schools competition I was able to represent my school when playing while also showing younger students in the team how to behave when representing the school outside of school grounds, I also lead the way and showed how to be resilient when facing challenges and owning up to your mistakes.
As a Catalogue Distributor my role included collating and packaging the weekly catalogues for my designated area, which covered more than 200 homes.
Using my mobile phone as GPS tracker, I delivered the bundles on a weekly basis prior to deadlines.
I enjoyed this experience as I was able to get to know the local community members, be outside and get some exercise.
As Vice school Captain at Baringa State Primary School, I was able to learn new skills on how to communicate and overcome challenges with my fellow counsellors, I also started a petition to place bubblers on the oval which I succeeded in, I was also able to break the record of most money raised when a fun raiser was held which was achieved with the help of my fellow counsellors. I assisted in the process of weekly assembly's where I would talk in front of the students, teachers and community members.
