In this position, I complete a large variety of admin and secretarial tasks to ensure the business runs smoothly. Starting as Control Room Operator in the Canberra office, taking calls, giving minor technical advise and assisting with client and bureau queries; I was shortly after given the role of Shift Supervisor. As a supervisor not only did I complete my daily expected tasks, I was also the main point of contact for any issues that arose on my shift including unhappy customers, issues with the software and databases as well as shift coverage and training of new staff members.
In early 2023, I was offered the opportunity to relocate to the Brisbane office and take on the role of Sales and Service Coordinator for the QLD and NSW area. In this role I work closely with internal and external people to help run multiple parts of the business. I attend and action emails; complete data entry; action client enquiries; arrange contracts for new and old clients; manage stock levels for both in and out of office (stationary, diaries, technician equipment etc.) assist in managing the technician and sales representatives calendars; liaise with clients and subcontractors; organise postal services of safety devices to vulnerable clients; approve invoices for accounts payable; and manage and take payments for clients.
Throughout my time at Security 1, I have worked closely with vulnerable clients who experience Domestic Violence; I take and action urgent calls possibly requiring police; ensure the hundreds of clients safety devices are activated and complete ll data entry for these clients.
In this position, I worked majority of my day working face to face with clients and their animals to ensure the clients left satisfied.
In this position I worked in multiple areas of the restaurant to ensure all services ran smoothly.
