Summary

Learning should be an exhilarating and inspiring journey that opens up the world and glorifies God. I aim to develop a respectful culture within classrooms, school and wider community, essentially establishing a supportive network that will allow students to flourish. I believe that students with additional needs are not simply a management case, but the opportunity to unlock a unique design and set of skills through synthesis of outer network agencies, the educational setting and families. God does not make mistakes as he handcrafts each of His children; we are called to love each other, bringing glory to His name through our own actions (2 Timothy 2: 22-26). In order to adequately facilitate this process, I regularly reflect on my practice and seek new, exciting ways to provide students with a rich learning experience. This can be achieved at a higher level through the collegial nature of the teaching and valuing each other’s contributions.
