Summary

SUMMARY

I have worked at Pacific National for the last 14 years. I have spent the majority of that time

working as a driver, and I have also had experience working as a terminal operator.

Throughout my career, I have continued to work towards personal goals as well as company

goals. I am always willing to learn new things and take on new responsibilities and I have.

The knowledge and skills I have developed

becoming a senior driver, combined with the competencies I have achieved, are completely

transferable across all the areas of the rail network.

I am a confident communicator and believe that clear and concise communication is key to

the operations running smoothly. This includes conducting thorough hand-overs between

shifts to ensure safety and efficiency of the job. I have excellent time management skills and

can balance the practical aspects of my job with the administrative requirements. I take

initiative in the work place and I use my knowledge and experience to prevent issues from

occurring. However, when unexpected issues do arise, I am able to think on feet and find safe

solutions in a timely manner.

Safety has always been my main focus and I always take the time to do things the right way,

to avoid injury and costly errors and I always strive to work efficiently, following procedures

and adhering to protocol. I maintain my integrity as a hard worker and take accountability for

my work. I know Aurizon strives on good team ethic and as an active team member, I will be

productive in my role, aiming for timely delivery of the product and overall customer

satisfaction
