My position was within accommodation and respite services.
This service provides support and long-term accommodation to adults with high support behaviours including physical, intellectual, and psychological disabilities.
This program gave support and independence to adults with a disability who are unable to live at home or with family.
In my role as Residential Support Worker I implemented case manager duties which include, managing a household (including all basic living skill requirements), actively supporting participants in acquiring living skills/ behaviour management support, working towards successful engagement of individual plans, routines and goals to support choices.
Ensuring work health and safety standards by acting as the work Health and Safety advocate.
Maintaining accurate records and reports.
Development and implementation of individual plans.
Chair and minute staff and client consumer meetings.
Liaising with health care professionals to ensure specialist care needs.
Liaising with external agencies to assist in care requirements.

This program provided support and independence to young people between the age of 10 and 17 years of age who for a variety of reasons, are unable to live at home or with relatives.
Services include crisis, medium- and long-term care.
My role was to work within residential setting for children and young people supporting living skills, choices, health care, family connections, with an emphasis on safety.
Out-wide Charters

My duties on board the vessel include Machinery checks, watch-keeping as well as navigating the vessel.
It has provided me with an opportunity to liaise with people from a range of diverse cultures and backgrounds, and to develop a range of practical problem-solving skills.
Out-wide Charters runs a successful Charter operation, which includes fishing, commercial diving, as well as shark netting.

Physical fitness is extremely important to me. I have been consistently active in various sports over many years. I enjoy keeping fit making healthy lifestyle choices. I have achieved various representative levels (including a national team in rugby) and developed leadership and teamwork skills accordingly.
