Core Leadership & Oversight
• Lead, mentor, and develop Facilities Managers and site-based teams across multiple states.
• Set performance objectives and ensure alignment with national FM strategy and KPIs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and succession planning for FM leads.
• Drive consistency in service delivery, safety culture, and customer experience across all regions.
Operational Management
• Oversee all facilities operations — planned maintenance, reactive works, asset management, compliance, and vendor performance.
• Approve and monitor preventative maintenance programs to ensure asset reliability and uptime.
• Ensure all CAFM systems, SRs, and work orders are managed accurately and closed out within SLA.
• Support FM teams with escalation management, complex technical issues, and site-critical incidents.
• Conduct periodic site audits to ensure standards are maintained.
Financial & Contract Control
• Manage regional budgets, accruals, and forecasting in alignment with national FM financial targets.
• Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and variations within delegation limits. • Monitor vendor expenditure and track cost savings, CAPEX planning, and OPEX optimization.
• Lead regional financial close-out and support the account director in quarterly and year-end reporting.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure all sites comply with statutory regulations, WHS legislation, and corporate policies.
• Oversee contractor compliance documentation (SWMS, insurances, permits). • Chair or attend regional safety and risk meetings; review incidents, near misses, and audit findings.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning at the regional level.
Vendor & Contractor Management
• Oversee regional vendor networks — performance, pricing, service delivery, and contract renewals.
• Drive consistent procurement standards and support national vendor tendering.
• Resolve escalated vendor performance issues and ensure KPI adherence.
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate improved service outcomes.
Projects & Asset Management
• Support or lead delivery of minor works, refurbishments, and lifecycle asset replacement programs.
• Ensure asset registers and condition assessments are current and accurate.
• Collaborate with projects and engineering teams to hand over new assets with full documentation.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, sustainability, and technology upgrades.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the key regional contact for client leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
• Attend state or regional governance meetings and provide data-driven FM performance updates.
• Partner with clients to identify improvement opportunities and ensure satisfaction targets are met.
• Manage sensitive communications and resolve escalated client concerns quickly and professionally.
