  • Improved productivity by building stronger relationships with other Maintenance teams which allowed for greater flexibility with resourcing and breaking down the silos
  • Maintained a strong focus on Safety at all times, ensuring all employees attended tool box meetings and weekly safety meetings, ensuring all BALL requirements were met at all times
  • Debriefed all shutdown, held meetings within the team to identify improvements and build on what went well. This was taken on by all teams and has helped the area constantly improve
  • Cost saving initiatives saving in excess of $3m dollars over a 12 month period and has continued to be sustainable within the department
  • Project Managed Major outage for Acid Plant, Feed Preparation, Off Gas and utilities areas ($45m)
  • Implemented the 5s housekeeping standards in the Smelter/Refinery department improving supply and storage and eliminating waste throughout the lay down and workshop areas
