  • This ensured the Qld Government were given equal opportunity across numerous vendors to purchase IT at a cost efficient price and negotiated savings that were favourable
  • My activities incorporate leadership of the day to day operations for SPARQ’s clients as well as complex and high value project procurement within the multi-million dollar Consolidated Program of Work for Ergon Energy and ENERGEX
  • I also undertook Acting arrangement as Procurement Manager for annual leave cover
  • In summary but not limited to:
  • Management of the overall Procurement Function for IT equipment for SPARQ Solutions
  • Supervision, leadership and development of staff
  • Provide Leadership in the procurement of IT&T assets, including desktops, laptops, servers, Cisco equipment, and other peripheral items, software licensing and maintenance agreements
  • I also led the telecommunications team in the procurement of mobile phones, telephone handsets as well as land lines connections such as ADSL/ISDN and VPN connections with Telstra
  • Procurement of IT&T equipment for up to 50 projects at any one time
