Crystal Zhang

I have been a registered Pharmacist for approximately 24 years. I obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Sydney University in 2003 and obtained my pharmacy registration in 2008.

Graduating from Sydney University and obtaining my pharmacist registration have been some of the proudest moments in my life. I have worked in pharmacy since my second year of university. My first pharmacy role was at Hurstville and my mentor, Ted Sissian, instilled in me the importance of discharging my duties as a pharmacist with the utmost of professionalism. I have always reminded myself of his words of wisdom and as I later became a preceptor to others, I have passed it on. I believe this ethos represents the value and respect we should have for our professional obligations. I tell all my students, as a pharmacist, we are here to serve the public, this is our number one priority, and we must adhere to all rules and regulations in order to properly discharge our duties.

After years of working as a pharmacist, and being a pharmacist-in-charge for 5 years, I purchased the Pharmacy in 2013.

In 2015, I purchased Neutral Bay Pharmacy. Between 2015 and 2018, I had been working between the two pharmacies and, due to staffing issues, I decided to enter into a partnership agreement for Neutral Bay Pharmacy. Between 2018 and 2020, I was working at Neutral Bay Pharmacy for 10 hours a week across two half day shifts as the on-duty pharmacist.

I sold Neutral Bay Pharmacy in 2021

• Used Microsoft Excel to develop inventory tracking spreadsheets.
• Used Google real-time spreadsheet to monitor business and daily tasks implementation
• MS Excel - Prepared and formatted financial project reports, budget spreadsheets and expense reports for monthly review.
