I am currently working as a property manager/department head at O’Briens Real Estate, running a portfolio of 240 properties with the help of my assistant. I have been a part of this business for 2.5 years. Throughout my time here, I have been allowed to progress further and further, taking on more responsibility, from overseeing and setting up a system for our storage sheds to being given a property management position and now running the department. My time at OBriens has allowed me to develop and refine my organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and mediation techniques. As a property manager, there is no shortage of difficult situations and clients to navigate, with the focus always being able to create the absolute best
customer experience. This dichotomy has allowed me to build on my customer service and problem-solving skills (often finding the best solution is fantastic customer service) and never to shy away from a difficult situation. It has shown me how to work as a team member and a leader in the business.
Navigated a fast pace and stressful environment to ensure the best possible customer service was provided consistently. This involved working with an unmotivated and young team and addressing the constant issues that this team produced.
