  • Contributing in QTMP(Queensland Train Manufacturing Program) and leading Fire Safety activities of Rolling stocks.
  • Maintain a clear and regular communication with the Korean SME related to Fire safety and safety assurance compliance progress, technical integration and stakeholders enquires and issues.
  • Detail verification of the technical specifications, standards and stakeholder’s safety requirements at each project stage to assure that the design meets the compliance obligations.
  • Perform safety engineering activities including: concept definition, requirements analysis and decomposition, interface definition, preparation of specifications and design documents, functional safety modelling, traceability records, verification and validation planning.
  • Identify and maintain fire safety issues and hazards registers and proposed control mitigations.
  • Elaborate Fire Safety concept to the project members and ensure it is implemented at subsystem Level (i.e., Designing of components of Rolling stock).
  • Ensuring the compliance is as per EN 45545 and AS Standards.
  • Preparation of Fire safety precautions for manufacturing, maintenance and operations activities.
  • Maintain an accurate fire safety requirements traceability data base with nominated evidence of compliance.

  • Prepare Fire Safety Control Plan as well as Fire Safety Design report to evaluate all the Fire prevention & mitigation measures taken as per the requirement and standards.
  • Numerically simulate the Fire & smoke propagation in rolling stocks with the help of PYROSIM software(FDS)
  • Perform Running capability analysis of Rolling stock as per EN 50553 to ensure all the measures shall be taken to reach the vehicle to place of safety.
  • Worked for RRTS(Regional Rapid transit system)-NCRTC, India.
