Daisy is a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer with over a decade of industry experience. Her years of experience include both Building Environment and Infrastructure projects across Australia and UK/Europe. Daisy has in-depth knowledge of geotechnical hazard identification and extensive construction experience in piling. She also has extensive experience in feasibility and concept planning, detail design and documentation, options analysis, business case studies and engineering geology.
Design experience includes ground investigations, preparing geotechnical factual/interpretative reports, earthworks, slope stability, analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations, including large rotary bored and CFA foundations, and small geotechnical structures. Contractual experience includes preparation of contract documents for tender purposes for a variety of geotechnical engineering construction. Onsite experience includes management and supervision multi-million pounds/dollars piling contracts, ground anchors and deep basement design throughout London, parts of the United Kingdom and Australia/New Zealand.
She has a thorough understanding of British, Eurocode, Australian/New Zealand Standards, and State design standards in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania, which she uses to create fit-for-purpose solutions for a number of market sectors.
Daisy also hold a European Surveying Chartership and four years’ experience in the field in Italy.
