- I am a member of the Burleigh Heads Surf Club and I volunteer as a lifesaver on roster patrols across the summer.
- I have completed my surf rescue certificate, which includes learning CPR , rescuing people in the surf and first aid.
- I assist with special events and programs at the surf club.
- Some of my duties on patrol including maintaining clean, neat, and operational facilities .
- While on patrol I work under a patrol captain and as part of a team which requires taking instructions from my captain and working well with others.
- Every year I resit my lifesaving qualification.
