Accomplishments

  • - During the Global Financial Crisis I provided extensive education to clients and financial advisers on the factors which had contributed to the negative performance of their investment. My ability to tailor the delivery of this information appropriately to each adviser or client resulted in the retention of many investments which would have otherwise been lost. The consistent feed back I received from clients and advisers was that they had a much better and deeper understanding of products and markets after having spoken with me.
  • - I conducted a review of investor communication and determined that efficiencies would be gained for unitholders and the business by converting the mailing of Annual Reports from post to email. Implementing this process had the dual benefit of providing clients with reports more timely and delivered a cost saving to the business of $250,000.00.
  • - With the assistance of the IT department I instigated the introduction of an electronic reporting system which enabled client service staff to email statements to advisers and clients. This enabled staff to respond to phone requests immediately and further enhanced the service offering.
  • - I built an industry leading service team by providing key metrics for the team to meet and mentored team members regularly to enable them to achieve the goal I set. This outstanding service was provided every year for more than 10 years and my team was recognised as being the leading client service provider for Separately Managed Accounts(SMA) in 2011.
