  • Operating and managing a local mobile auto electrical business in Yeppoon. These tasks included general book keeping duties of the business, building and maintaining strong customer relationships through cost effective repair solutions that was in their budget and establishing good supplier connections to have parts and supplies on hand to minimize downtime.
  • Providing timely and accurate troubleshooting solutions for various auto electrical and air conditioning problems in a wide range of machinery and vehicles such as light vehicles, mining equipment and civil construction machines through planned and breakdown jobs.
  • Carried out a wide range of site compliant and domestic installations for auto electrical and air conditioning systems in a wide range mining, civil and domestic vehicles and machinery. This included but not limited to lighting and battery system upgrades, battery monitoring and control systems, isolation, security and safety systems, air conditioning system upgrades, installations and maintenance.
  • Currently contracted to Salmon Earthmoving at Hail Creek Mine to maintain a fleet of mining and civil equipment.   • Serviced and maintained a various fleet of Atlas Copco Pitviper 275, DMM3 and Sandvick DK90s blast hole drills at BMA Blackwater and Corornado Curragh Mine. These tasks included general servicing of the drills at the set service intervals, performed breakdown support when needed and carrying out rebuilding of minor components when changed out. These components included but not limited to hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, gearboxes, valves and actuators, electrical junction boxes, looms and electrical components.
  • Performed drill rod change outs when rods were non serviceable with Mindrill Services. This task included the use of a Telehandler and WAH to change out the drill rods safely to site SOPs.
  • Interpreted hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics to pin point underlying or current problems with specific components of the drill rig through service days or breakdowns.
  • Performed electrical overhauls and repairs to current and previous electrical systems of the drill rig. These included junction box rebuilds, electrical harness and component upgrades in accordance to OEM and site updates, testing diagnosis of faulty components such as levers, coils, relays, gauges and electrical modules and boards.

  • Engaged in customer services which involved over the counter sales of electrical and air conditioning parts and bookings of vehicles and machinery through the computer system.
  • Maintained inventory and stock levels of the shop to ensure all spares were up to date at all times. Placed orders through supplier portals as well as engaged with suppliers over the phone and through emails.
