For the last 10 years i have worked in Victorias largest maximum security jail Port Phillip Prison in that time i have applied myself to getting my firearms licence, became a fire awareness officer which involves teaching staff new and old on how to respond to fires in a jail enviroment the safest way possible, became a supervisor and am currently a tactical operations group member which is the jails emergency response team. I am able to stay calm in high stress situations and try and get the safest outcome possible. Learning new skills excites me as im always looking to improve my skill set and being a correctional officer i am able to understand the importance of rules and regulations and how safety is the most important aspect of any workplace.
