I started training in Taekwondo at the age of 7 years old and at 15, 17 and 20 years old I represented my Country (New Zealand) at the International Taekwondo World Championships in Spain, Italy and Germany. It was because of Taekwondo that I was able to pursue a career in Chiropractic, as I was selected to take part in a study conducted under Taekwondo athletes measuring their strength levels before vs after getting adjusted. Prior to this I had been dealing with lower back and ankle injuries affecting my performance and balance in Taekwondo. After getting my first set of adjustments and being able to experience the benefits that came with it, I decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
