Role working as part of the QMusic Programming team and am responsible for coordination of First Nations projects and engagement, focusing on community, business and artistic relationships.
Building engagement with First Nations community, its contemporary musicians and music industry workers, as well as First Nations-led music businesses and events in Queensland. • Supporting (and leading where appropriate) consultation with First Nations artists and workers and communities. • In partnership with First Nations board members and Cultural consultants, advise and provide feedback on Cultural sensitivity in external communications. • Supporting QMusic Programming team, including collaborating with and providing advice when required, assisting with Artist Liaising as well as event delivery where appropriate. • Ensure positive relationships are maintained with external First Nations advisors, stakeholders and industry peers. • Represent QMusic at industry events as required and appropriate, and develop and grow ongoing relationships with local, national and international networks. • Attending QMusic staff meetings and planning sessions and contributing to shared team activities as and when required. • Support development of written reports, acquittals and presentations on progress, delivery and planning of QMusic projects for a variety of stakeholders.
Responsible for the sound of Triple A Murri Country.
Programming of daily music schedules for airplay. Sourcing of new music for playlists, curating programs in specific genres. Working with external stakeholders in festivals, events and media. Hosting of weekly Let's Talk radio show
