Carpenter specialising in the restoration, repair, and upgrade of sliding sash windows and other types English style of traditional timber windows. Skilled in draught-proofing and acoustic sealing, timber and rot repairs, and handcrafting bespoke components such as sash stiles, rails, horns, and pulley systems. Experienced in both traditional joinery techniques and modern methods to deliver high-quality, long-lasting, and heritage-sensitive results.

Responsible for room renovations project and maintenance of the staff village. As well as maintenance in main resort. Being proactive making sure the right materials and equipment have been ordered so they can be on island in time for jobs to take place.

I also have to be adaptable and improvise with whatever challenge or complication I am faced with.

Subcontracting for different companies from daily to weekly periods of time. Assisting or completing jobs independently depending on the task in hand. A wide range of projects from demolition, core drilling, landscaping and more

General housekeeping duties such as maintaining common areas, guest rooms and stock rooms. Change over for the arrival of guests and providing housekeeping for current guests.

3 years of Bench Joinery apprenticeship followed by one year experience fully qualified. Worked in the machine shop making doors, windows and various other projects. Experienced in spray painting. I have had experience working on site fitting, restoration and new build projects.

Worked both day and evening shifts in bar selling real ales and beers which were brewed on site. With addition of food services prepared behind the bar. My role also included opening and closing up the establishment.
