Conducted research in synthetic biology of vital medicinal plants, supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, focusing on the exploration of Artemisinin biosynthetic enzyme encoding genes and the development of a yeast-based system for the production of anti-malarial therapeutic agents.
