- Conduct preventative, corrective, and preservation maintenance on fixed and portable machinery as part of a team and individually, including, but not limited to, elevators, conveyors, stacker loaders, dust collection systems, and grain sampling equipment.
- Establish safe and effective work plans through comprehensive JSAs.
- Safely use effective dogging and rigging techniques to remove and reinstall plant and machinery.
- I have worked as part of the Esperance bush maintenance team during harvest and off-peak periods, completing preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance as required.
- Repaired worn parts by grinding, welding, filing, turning, and replacing them when necessary.
- Perform fault diagnosis and installation of new bearings, and removal of failed bearings.
- Conducted routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems and develop strategies for repair or replacement.

- Coordinate and perform fumigation, venting, and clearance activities at all CHB sites in the Esperance Zone.
- Schedule and conduct corrective and extension of life maintenance on CBH infrastructure to maintain fumigatable storages.
- Actively involved in the development and annual reviews of Grain Protection SOPs and safe work practices.
- Participated in working groups to design the current fumigation truck. Also involved in developing the new phosphine dilution system.
- Ensure safety in the workplace by conducting regular safety interactions and verifying Critical Control activities in line with CBH critical risk standards and procedures.
- Provide advice to Grain Protection Officers and zone staff on fumigation procedural changes, as well as guidance relating to regulation and legislative changes.
- Responsible for monthly stock takes to ensure scheduled works are resourced accurately, as well as issuing all chemicals and consumables used by the grain protection team.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to continually improve storage infrastructure and fumigation performance.
- Regularly work unsupervised at remote CBH sites.
- Coordinate and perform annual emergency preparedness drills for the Grain Protection team.
- Perform and record the Grain Protection safety equipment maintenance log and weekly checks.
