Plan & Prepare:

- Follow instructions, interpret plans, specifications, quality requirements and operational details. Ensure documents are confirmed and include all relevant information for planning and preparation purposes.

- Safety (OHS) requirements are followed in accordance with safety plans and policies.

- Set out location of curtain wall installation connections to job drawings and specifications.

Installation:

- Install curtain wall fixing brackets to set out points in accordance with manufacturer specifications and site structural drawings.

- Install curtain walling plumb and level and aligned. Fix into position in accordance with specifications.

- Apply sealants to curtain walling and trims, where specified, in accordance with job specifications and relevant MSDS.

Having begun working on the project while it was in its foundational stage, my role and responsibilities evolved as was required

Ground slabs, Columns, Core, Walls, Framing, Decking:

Plan & Prepare:

- Follow instructions, interpret plans, specifications, quality requirements and operational details. Ensure documents are confirmed and include all relevant information for planning and preparation purpose

- Safety (OHS) requirements are followed in accordance with safety plans and policies

- Set out to job drawings and specifications

- Calculate material quantity requirements in accordance with plans, specifications and quality requirements

Installation:

- Installed plumb and level and aligned and fixed into position in accordance with specifications (columns were a combination of pre-fab steel column boxes and conventional in-situ shutters)

- Work with crane crew in accordance with safety requirements

- Curved shutters for carpark ramp

- Assist core crew with lock-ups and stripping

Manage Stair & Lobby crew:

Plan & Prepare:

- Interpret plans, specifications, quality requirements and operational details. Ensure documents are confirmed and include all relevant information for planning and preparation purpose

- Safety (OHS) requirements are followed in accordance with safety plans and policies

- Conduct daily toolbox meetings

- Regular JSA reviews

- Set out to job drawings and specifications

- Calculate material quantity requirements in accordance with plans, specifications and quality requirements

- Communicate with site Foreman

Installation:

- Conventional frame and deck landings according to plans and specifications

- Propping

- Install safety rails

- Maintain pour date record for back propping and stripping requirements

- Forward planning for distribution of manpower and rotation of materials
