During my 10 years service at Industrial Fire and Electrical I have been exposed to a diverse range of tasks gaining extensive experience in the trade.

Since becoming a qualified Electrician in 2018 my main roles have been;

• Running commercial and industrial projects
• A broad range of experience within Instrumentation installation and fault finding.
• Assembling, testing, and commissioning electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on commercial, rural and industrial equipment Implement preventive maintenance schedules for critical machines.
• Upgrade and test electronic circuitry on high-value equipment.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.
• Ensure new equipment is installed according to the manufacturer's specifications.
• General electrical wiring and repairs.
• Install and maintain air conditioning services.
• Data, CCTV, phone and security installation.
• Fibre optics cable installation
• Service and maintain wastewater electrical/instrumentation infrastructure.
• Supervise large projects, including task delegation to relevant team members, and coordination of external trades to ensure project timelines are met and completed within budget.
• My current role is Coordinating a Statewide contract for TasWater, this role involves scoping, quoting and scheduling works to ensure the jobs are completed in specified times and done to a high standard.
• I have also spent a total of 12 months sub contracting to the TasWater Electrical department in the North. This involved high priority faults being diagnosed and resolved in a minimal amount of time whilst under the stress of the consequences that could arise if the faulty infrastructure is not back in working order. I also conducted preventive maintenance on electrical switch boards, PlC panels, instruments.
