Accomplishments

  • In 2003, I trained and established a management team to transfer the Tweed Centro store from a limited menu to a full menu store which saw sales growth up to 40%. The store was fully operational two days ahead of schedule.
  • I introduced new procedures and efficiencies that resulted in improvements in customer service times and average check. This resulted in the overall store rating from a BBA to be graded a AAA operating store.
  • Transferred to the Tweed City store in 2004 and introduce new measures in the areas of production control, customer service and store maintenance that resulted in reduced down time on equipment and increase of sales growth of 5%. Store graded an AAA.
  • In early 2005 I was transferred from store operations to help with planning, recruitment, training and development of the new store opening of McDonald's Coolangatta. The store continues to have positive sales growth of 9-10% each year and in 2006 and 2007 the store was graded a AAA store.
  • With a change in store ownership in late 2007 I was asked by the new owner to oversee store operations at their flagship store at Burleigh Heads, which had just recently converted to 24 hours trading. This store had sales growth of approximately 15% and in 2008/09 we are still experiencing growth in the double figure region. The store was recently graded a AAA store.
  • In mid 2009 an opportunity arose at the BP Chinderah store to oversee all store operations. The store trades 24/7 with sales growth of 9-10%. Within a few months and a new focus on operational procedures and customer service we are experiencing sales growth in the region of 14+%. The store continues to meet and exceed Head Office targets and KPI's.
  • In 2015 to 2021, I was given the opportunity to move to the Operations Manager role to oversee the Licensee's five stores. During this time, myself and the team have continued to move the targets and goals that we set out to achieve. All of the stores have exceeded McDonald's benchmarks and each year we exceed expectations in all aspects of the business in quality, service, workplace safety, people development and profit.
  • 2022 undertook the new role at Baskin – Robbins Australia as part of the Support Centre as a Franchise Business Consultant. Current portfolio covers the Gold Coast, Far North Queensland and the region of NSW. The role includes leading, supporting and motivating Franchise Partners to meet benchmark profitability, operational excellence and a improve the overall guest experience.
