  • As a civil labourer for Pelligra, I played a key role in supporting the demolition and construction of an infrastructure project.
  • My responsibilities included preparing and maintaining work areas, using power tools (angle grinder, circular saw, reciprocating saw, drills, jack hammer) to complete tasks.
  • I assisted with concreting as well as filling in cracks and holes with cement then plaster.
  • I also had to move heavy materials from place to place either using electric pallet jack or by hand.
  • Basic carpentry tasks such as measuring marking and cutting timber and installing temporary support systems
  • Over the 8 months on this site I developed a lot of experience on the tools as well as widening my abilities on site, which allowed me to effectively contribute to tasks.
