Being born into a horse loving family, my father was a racehorse trainer I learn to ride and handle horses from a young age.
I left school and started riding/breaking in for Bob and Jack Ingham, riding many great racehorses.
I moved on from there to a turf farm and started as a farm hand and progressed to delivery driver.
Moving to work as lead driver for Dan Sutherland. On his retirement my wife Helen and myself purchased the business and ran it very successfully until a combination of EI virus and recession our client base dwindled. We then merged our business with my parents racehorse transport which we helped setup. My wife ran Prestige Racehorse Transport while I designed and build all 11 of their truck bodies.
I also have built many Ute trays, dog boxes, steel fences, horse stables, horse walking machines, alloy trays for buggies.
Spending any free time on farms in Bylong and Coolah. Feeding hay in the drought, mustering, yard work, ear tagging, branding, drenching.
I am currently doing my cert 3 in engineer fabrication.
