Royal Adelaide Hospital  27/01/2025 - 2/03/2025


Level 9EF - Wing 1 General Medicine/Geriatrics: 

  • Was able to develop multitasking and time management skills by taking on a progressive patient load throughout the placement.
  • Developed a deeper understanding on how to manage patient's with severe dementia, including the importance of clear communication and patience.


Level 8F - Wing 2 General Medicine 

  • Developed medication preparation and administration technique whilst maintaining aseptic technique and adhering to proper Identity checking.
  • Developed wound care skills including identifying the correct tools and equipment required, along with documentation skills.


Women's and Children's hospital 22/04/2024 - 19/05/2024


Rogerson Operating Theatre/Recovery:

  • Gained experience and an understanding of airway management and the perioperative care whilst working in the Anesthetic Nurse role and Recovery unit.
  • Developed a stronger confidence in anesthetic induction through participation and progressing through to assisting the anesthetist with intubating a patient.


Lyell Mcewin Hopsital 18/11/2024 - 8/12/2024


Ward 2A medical 24/7:

  • Through this placement I was able to perform and develop my ECG skills, Insulin Administration and documentation skills on sunrise.
  • Developed a stronger understanding on ISBAR handover and collaborative team work with the nursing staff whilst managing a patient load.
