RCCC is a member of AusCycling. AusCycling is the national organisation representing all forms of cycling: competitive, recreational and transport. It is a member of the UCI and the IOC.
As a club RCCC is committed to being more than just a place to get a license to race. It's objective is to help grow the sport of road cycling in WA and to bring our members together in both the competitive and social arenas. We run a calendar of racing over the summer period and have a particular focus on equity of gender opportunity in competitive cycling. Wherever possible, if we run a men's grade we will also run a the equivalent women's grade.
I was president of the club for twelve years and still serve on the committee. I was made a life member in 2022.
