6 years of experience as a civil engineer. I bring hands-on expertise in construction and steel reinforcement, with a solid background in bar bending schedules, rebar preparation, and site coordination for structural projects. I’m committed to working safely and diligently, while always looking for opportunities to learn and improve. Recognized by my workmates as reliable and detail-oriented, I welcome new challenges and responsibilities, and I aim to contribute to teams to the best of my abilities.
I primarily worked as a rebar scheduler and estimator, handling multiple projects simultaneously. My responsibilities included reviewing and studying construction drawings to prepare accurate bar bending schedules (BBS). I also arranged the timely delivery of all required materials—not just reinforcing bars, but also all related accessories needed before each concrete pour.
I coordinated closely with site foremen, site engineers, project managers, and even company directors to ensure seamless communication and efficient delivery. I took pride in making sure they received exactly what they needed, when they needed it.
I worked as a Project Engineer on the client side, as part of the Project Management Team. Our head office was located in the heart of Quezon City Manila, but I was primarily based on-site, where we had an office and private quarters. I stayed there full-time for almost three years. I worked on three different hospital projects, moving between sites as needed.
My daily responsibilities included inspecting and monitoring the general contractor’s work from the start of the project through to completion — from soil excavation to the final concrete pour on the roof deck. I focused heavily on ensuring the correct installation of reinforcing bars and verifying compliance with all MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Safety) requirements.
I also regularly presided over construction committee meetings alongside my Project Manager, serving as his right hand in decision-making and coordination.
