• Responsible for building the EI Australia structural drafting team from scratch which involved many late nights and weekends to get everything up and running whilst being the sole drafter working on multiple projects within normal business hours during the week to build EI Australia's profile and reputation in the Structural Engineering discipline as it was primarily an environmental and geotechnical engineering consultancy prior to that.

• I started off working in the print room to learn how to work with drawings ie. folding, binding and packaging, after 9 months I was transferred to the Structures group where I began my training as a Structural/Civil Engineering Cad Technician.
• As a Structural/Civil Engineering Cad Technician my experience entailed all aspects of civil/site development from project planning through to hand over phase including detailed design and all aspects od Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
• I was responsible for producing structural general arrangement drawings including, for new buildings, building refurbishments, steel frame detailing, precast construction and reinforced concrete (RC) detailing. These range from domestic houses to large industrial and commercial buildings, various educational and health sector projects.
