As a people-first candidate, I value building strong relationships and creating a supportive environment. With a natural inclination for caring and teaching others, I excel in roles where I work closely with colleagues, teams, and clients. My strong interpersonal skills and passion for sharing knowledge enable me to create a positive and productive work environment for everyone to thrive.
My objective in this role is to provide transparent, clear, and reliable service to the employees at BlueRock. I achieve this by employing clear and concise communication, empowering through education, and forming rapport with employees.
When I started, BlueRock was a company of approximately 150 employees with one office. Since then, we have expanded to three offices with approximately 450 employees. The changes that I have implemented have significantly improved the daily operational function of our employees.
My achievements at BlueRock include:
As a working and passionate musician, I am currently committed to my role at VCA (Victorian College of the Arts) where I work with second-year Musical Theatre students. Every Tuesday morning, I have the opportunity to share my expertise, guide students in their artistic journeys, and help them hone their craft.
Through my work as a musician, I have found a fulfilling avenue for creative expression and an opportunity to contribute to society in meaningful ways. Teaching at VCA has been particularly rewarding, as I am able to share my passion for music and empower the next generation of musical theatre professionals.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities that music has provided me, and I look forward to continuing to share my talents and inspire others through my work as a musician and educator.
I am a music director for Be You charity's Broadway Unplugged concert and was a board member from November 2018 to March 2021. I actively supported the charity's values of transparency, accountability, and collaboration during my tenure.
I provide support and education to young and upcoming music directors, gaining valuable experience in event management, leadership, and effective communication. As a committed member of the non-profit sector, I remain excited to continue my journey with Be You charity, contributing to its efforts to empower individuals, celebrate diversity, and create a more equitable future.
As a self-employed computer technician, I excelled in establishing strong client relationships and providing expert systems administration services. My hardware expertise included diagnosing faults and replacing hard drives and RAM. Additionally, I assisted clients with email setup and licensing management.
During my time as a Project Support and Graphic Designer at Forethought, I received training in project support work and worked as an office manager, developing skills in phone etiquette, travel bookings, and catering. As a graphic designer, I created and designed communications collateral and infographics, while liaising with teams and stakeholders to contribute to internal and external communications.
As Marketing Manager/Shop Administrator at Xero Computing, Carlton, I oversaw weekly press releases, built relationships with clients, liaised with sales representatives, managed PR and events, identified new opportunities to promote the brand, maintained a contact database, reported monthly to the Director, and identified opportunities for local PR and marketing.
