As an Education support worker in a special developmental setting, I’ve gained and learned and enormous amount of experience working with a large variety of students all with very different complex disabilities who all have different needs and requirements. I learned quickly it is a fast-paced flexible environment and you must be flexible to all situations and be able to change your pace at all times. Working as an ES in an SDS place forming relationships with students, teacher and parents are all important.
