1. Support the Executive Management Team in strategic planning on all fiduciary activities
2. Develop and implement a whole-of-organisation budget which accords with Annual Workplan objectives and the Strategic Plan
3. Support the Executive and wider Management Team in their budgeting and reporting activities by devising financial management parameters (planning/budget preparation frameworks including the use of financial KPI’s) to be used by individuals in conjunction with the Delegation of Authorities (Financial Section) schedule.
4. Ensure delivery of all financial reporting requirements showing financial performance of the organisation
5. Preparation of budgets, Income & Expenditure & necessary Finance Reports for the Executive Management Team
6. Monitor funding reporting/acquittal requirements of ASIC & government customers and prepare documents accordingly
7. Ensure financial systems (eg. Capital Management, Balance Sheet reporting, Fleet Management, Asset Management Register, Purchasing and policies on Investment, Wealth Creation and Finance, Debt Reduction Strategy etc.) are developed and implemented
8. Monitor & control risk management framework, including insurance management
9. Monitor & control Payroll (processing, reporting, reconciliation, Superannuation and PAYG Tax) including recording annual salary review statements for Coordinators and other staff (based on Individual Workplan attainment verified through Performance Management from HR)
10. Monitor & control Debtors and Creditors processing including invoices, purchase orders, delivery dockets, statements & authorisation of payments
11. Manage IT staff and/or contracts to deliver reliable, necessary information technology and communications solutions to staff (hardware, software package suite, intranet, communication devices and remote networking) and other stakeholders (internet, ease/reliability of contact)
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent 10 years in a senior generalist finance role
