Accomplishments

  • Contributed to service improvements by rearranging the sterile stock and making a 'Where is it?' folder. Designed to store sterile stock items in a logical order, reduce heavy lifting and assist new and seasoned staff to find items required for surgery.
  • Scrub/Scout rostering for a large team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses working within the unit. Following rostering guidelines to ensure skill mix, safe nursing levels, rest breaks and life/work balance for the nursing team.
  • Acacia Super User training for the roll out of Acacia. Completed additional training sessions to assist Nursing staff with the transition into the new RDH computer operating system.
  • Collaborate with the ENT Clinical Nurse Specialist to assist in coordinating the ENT specialty.
