Accomplishments

In my previous role, I unofficially regularly stepped into a leadership capacity, effectively acting as Second-in-Charge (2IC) in the absence of the store manager. I was responsible for overseeing both the pawnbroking and retail operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day function across departments. This included managing customer service, processing transactions, handling sensitive items, and maintaining compliance standards. As well as money handling our entire stores reserves and making sure we balanced thousands of dollars each day. I also played a key role in onboarding and training new staff, providing guidance on company procedures, customer engagement, and product knowledge to help them integrate confidently and efficiently into the team.

In my previous position, I consistently operated across three key roles—Finance Operator, Pawnbroker, and Retail Sales Associate—often simultaneously. I adapted quickly between departments based on business needs, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities and a thorough understanding of each area’s responsibilities. While managing these varied duties, I maintained up-to-date knowledge of all relevant procedures and consistently met or exceeded KPIs in each section. This flexibility and performance contributed significantly to the store’s overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
