Time in workforce: 4 years Fulltime since age 17
Schooling: Completed Year 12 with an ATAR of 78
General Interests : My interests include anything outdoors such as Fishing, Hunting, Camping. I am also very into my sports, whether that be spectating or playing. I have played Rugby League and Rugby union my entire life. I also particularly enjoy socialising, I really enjoy meeting new people and trying new things.
Bit about me: I was raised on a cattle station 50km east of Coonabarabran, so my early years were spent working with my mother and father on the farm. Once I got older, I then relocated to Sydney to pursue sport, I spent roughly 7 years in Sydney for school. During my time in Sydney, I played Rugby League for the Sydney Roosters and once I had finished school I worked as a plumbing apprentice for 2 years. At the end of 2022 I Moved back to the family farm to help out my father as he was running a one man show.
I am a motivated person and have a strong work ethic, growing up on a farm instilled in me that hard work brings a comfortable life. As I am only in my early 20's I know what I lack in skills I can make up for in hard work and labour and am always eager to learn new things and upskill.
My reason for the move to Port Macquarie is to be with my partner and for the coastal lifestyle. I didn't plan on moving away from the farm however I thought it would be a fantastic way to finish the trade so as that I could have it under my belt.
Why Plumbing? I first grew interest to plumbing through my cousins, they run a successful construction Company called ‘Robert Plumb'. They encouraged me to get a trade & suggested Plumbing.
Since starting the trade, I have found certain aspects that I really enjoy. I particularly enjoy the problem-solving side of it and the satisfaction that comes from looking at neat work that you've done. I have missed the trade since moving back to the farm and would love the opportunity to do it again
