I was employed as a business manager responsible for the financial and operational performance of a business with sixteen direct reports and a turnover of $3.5 million annually
During my employment I moved throughout three separate regions, North Brisbane, Gold Coast and finally South Brisbane taking responsibility on each occasion for underperforming businesses which had all failed to meet their respective annual financial budget and in two cases were delivering a net loss
Throughout my four and a half years I consistently returned those business to profit by restructuring operations, implementing, and aligning strategy plus engaging team members
By amplifying our local marketing strategy in 2015-2016 I increased revenue by 29.3% YoY, delivering an EBIT of 38.7%
