• Underwrite TAL new business cases and BT alterations and increase cases using the appropriate guidelines both internal and Reinsurer guidelines & manuals
• Support the sales team with subject matter expertise.
• Applied knowledge of underwriting guidelines to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and company standards, and to ensure best outcomes for client while maintaining profitability for TAL
• Discuss cases with planners during the underwriting process and once final decision has been made to help them understand and in turn discuss with their clients
• One of two BT underwriters left after takeover by TAL and have been involved with training all departments with, guidelines, procedures while having to take enquires from all over the TAL business looking for help with BT products.
• Was involved with the training and meetings when BT systems were incorporated in to TAL systems and then had to provided training to other BT staff.
• Build strong relationships with out reinsurers both for BT and TAL products
