I am a licensed tradesman (Plumber) who has had a successful career running a small plumbing business for over 30 years in Townsville. I am actively looking to go a different direction away from plumbing while my business career is at a personal high. I have been continuously looking for work as a HR or higher truck driver since getting my open HR license 4 years ago. I am also an experienced plant operator with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and challenges. Most of my plant operating experience has been gained in the use of a CAT 329E & a 330F long arm excavator and Cat 980H front end loaders loading sugar in a tight shed environment at a fast pace to obtain a loading rate of 1800-2000 tonne per hour, with 2 machines working together. I also have limited experience driving MR & HR trucks. My HR driving experience had been mainly driving an auto truck doing deliveries of bulk oil to commercial customers from Townsville to Mackay and to charters towers. I have also gained experience driving tip trucks for a local Townsville contractor doing mainly deliveries of materials and demolishing of houses. As an experienced plumber, drainer and gas fitter I have had wide exposure to the mining, commercial and domestic market with attention to detail and safety. I have over 16 years’ limited experience intermittently operating various plant and equipment in various environments and am extremely adaptable and capable. I am also a versatile applicant who has a broad understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements in industrial mine site environments as well as the public sector, business premises and the private market. My work experiences include daily operating, cleaning, maintenance and checks to various plant and equipment and assist and work with tradesmen where instructed. I am used to operating mobile plant and equipment with attention to detail and adherence to strict safe work practices. I am looking for a full time employment roll where I can contribute to working in a team environment as well as individually when required.
