Dynamic Fleet Sales Manager with over 22 years at Toyota Fleet Management, excelling in securing corporate clients and leading high-performing teams. Proven financial acumen and commercial aptitude to drive consistent sales success. Adept at fostering collaboration and communication, I thrive in achieving targets and enhancing customer relationships.
My tenure at Toyota Fleet Management has seen me based in Melbourne for the entire 22+ years. The FSM role has three fundamental objectives being;
I was initially employed to understand the introduction of GST in Australia and the impact it might have on the novated leasing industry.
At the completion of that project, I was invited to remain with NLC as a Consultant.
Over time, I proved to be very successful in delivering consistent results and was considered suitable for promotion as a Team Supervisor to oversee growth in the expanding business.
Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed my developing role, I was enticed to join Toyota Financial Services which was to eventually become Toyota Fleet Management.
Primarily responsible for delivering payroll and benefits to an employee base of 500 people within the stock broking industry.
Outside of PAYE, the industry encourage a broad range of fringe benefits such as novated leases and other non-cash benefits.
In 1999, the ANZ bank chose to divest itself of the stock broking business and I was retained until the company closed its doors and all personnel had been appropriately paid out.
Through my tenure here, I had developed a good relationship with the principals of Novated Leasing Company (NLC) which lead to my next career opportunity.
Each year, TFM Sales teams are set budgets on various categories related to the attainment of profitable outcomes. There are 14 similar sales teams represented across all states in Australia.
The categories are a balanced score card of measurable outcomes including net amount financed ($NAF), units, new customers won, fees & interest margin and various product upsells.
In 2008, the team I led were the inaugural winners of this award and subsequently in 2014 when I was redeployed to manage another underperforming team, we won the award again in the following year.
