- Safely operate a variety of 18-tonne Forklifts, Reach Stackers, Pallet Jacks and Walkie Stackers to load and unload ugly freight and materials such as motors and machinery parts.
- Conduct regular compliance and safety reviews throughout the warehouse and provide ongoing support for my team to create a structured work environment complying with all site safety procedures.
- Responsible for performing all receipting and issuing of stock as well as completing a reconciliation of consignment notes and orders, effectively maintaining accurate records.
- Ordering and issuing of consumables, tools and equipment, performing stock-takes and ensuring the correct housekeeping within the stores department and effectively responding to internal service calls regarding malfunctioning equipment, completing general repairs on all equipment resulting in limited downtime.
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, filing, archiving, sorting of mail, maintaining stationery and storage areas and re-ordering when required.
- Provide administration assistance to company Managers, including compliance and OH&S administrative tasks, assisting with ADHOC queries and supporting the HSEQ department.
- Ensure that all vehicles are pre-started prior to operating, check all electrics, lights, fluid levels, tyre pressure and report any defects.
- Washdown of all vehicles and equipment using high-pressure water blasters and re-fuelling of vehicles at the end of each shift as per SOP's.
- Conducting daily vehicle pre-starts including 360-degree checks, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, refuelling, performing minor mechanical repairs and reporting major issues directly to management, tagging out vehicles as required.
- Comply with all safety procedures including wearing the correct P.P.E for the task, operating under JHA's, permits to work, isolations, take 5's and hazard identification and reporting.
