• Installation and integration of high capacity siganlling system into the new HCMT trains
• perform quality checks to all trains within scope
• perform static and dynamic testing to ensure retrofit is performing correctly
• fault finding / diagnosing faults, rectifying them as needed
• train driver and shunter/crab qualification
• 1500volt overhead line isolation and energisation
• update trainset electronic function system
• take part in setting trains up for region to region testing through the new tunnel

Through Protech i was employed by Downer Edi in the Reworks for work on the new HCMT trains works Including;

• full trainset isolation and de-isolations to ensure intrusive works are safe
• verifying isolations prior to start of work
• point to point testing
• fitment of new terminals and plugs to ensure trainset up to standard

• Electrical installation for high rise apartments
• Large main conductor installation, cable tray, switchboards, rough-in, apartment/carpark fitoff and commissioning of installations
• Mentored apprentice electricians in proper installation techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
• Adapted quickly to changing project requirements or deadlines without sacrificing quality of workmanship or materials utilized.
• Managed inventory control, ordering supplies as needed to avoid delays in project completion timeframes.
• Worked from ladders, scaffolds and lifts to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring equipment and lighting fixtures in ceilings, on roofs and on towers.
• Read and interpreted electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications for wiring layouts.
• Stored and maintained power tools and equipment for each job.
• Demonstrated expertise in use of cable reels, stripping tools, voltage detectors, and wire and cable cutters to complete fast-paced work.

On loan through Acton Electrical i worked with Stowe at Karingal Hub Shopping centre where I ran a fitoff team, installing carpark lights, switchboards and commissioning of installation

On loan through Acton Electrical i had the opportunity to work at the Ravenhall Prison Facility working on each section of the facility roughing in and fitting off the fire system working closely Entire fire and their contractors

Started and completed my apprenticeship with Franz Electrics. I gained alot of knowledge through my employer with a wide variety of work including

• Commercial environment mainly Coolrooms (Australia and overseas)
• Industrial, installation of machines, milling machine maintenance, factory maintenance
• Domestic re-wire and new home builds
• Test and tagging
• Air conditioning maintenance
