Managing the coordination and scheduling of the container export program to worldwide locations
This accounts for approximately 100,000mt of M&Ts grain export
Liaising with shipping liners to maintain good relationships and foster new ones
Active collaboration with the chartering team to ensure the best rates possible for target destinations
Work together with the trading team to ensure shipping capacity is maximised and contracts are delivered on time in line with Export and Government regulations
Provide excellent service to customers to ensure their continued interest in the CBH container program
Constant Grain Market Analysis to keep up to date with trends and improvements
Achievements: Worked on the shipping improvements project developing new processes in the BSM software to streamline previously manual tasks
This includes the implementation of the Container Scheduling Dashboard, the improved Dual Invoice Approval system to meet audit requirements, and the integration of Insurance and Sustainability certificates into BSM
Had the opportunity to relieve the Lead role in the team from March of this year
This has included additional responsibilities including managing the Bulk Export program by allocating vessel files to staff members, maintaining control of Letters of Credits, ensuring appropriate reporting is completed, meeting critical due dates, and ensuring appropriate banking channels have been selected
Maintaining relationships with Independent surveyors to ensure our requirements are met and appropriate testing is completed for correct destination markets
Being a general support to the team and overseeing the day-to-day tasks to ensure the effective execution of the export shipping program.

Preparation, checking and distribution of shipping documentation both pre and post shipment, to grain export markets complying with Letter of Credit’s, document instructions and contract terms
Working closely with Internal and External Stakeholders and service providers to ensure safe, efficient, and effective management of CBH Grains export shipping program
Vetting Letters of Credit and Document instructions for both bulk and container shipments, coordination of export contracts of sales
Ensuring compliance to Government regulation and requirements for all Exports including Customs and DAFF requirements
Closely working with Shipping Operations around Vessel Nominations, Finalising Freight invoices and Laytime calculations for CBH Grain Bulk shipments.
Managing the coordination, scheduling, and packing of Container Contracts and Domestic Outturns at Metro Grain Centre (MGC)
Facilitating and liaising with DAFF for AO auditing, accreditation, general inquiries, and export documentation
Key liaison with container transporter contractors and shipping lines
Maintain and monitor grain and malted barley stocks at MGC to ensure output plans are met
Monitoring and recording daily and weekly KPI’s
Achievements: Developed and introduced the Container Nomination Advise program to MGC
This removed the need for manual entry of buyer’s contracts
It streamlined them directly into MGC systems, allowing for a more visible forecast of upcoming container packing at MGC
The implementation of the Domestic App at MGC removing the manual processes of MGC staff and streamlining the process of domestic outturns at MGC.
