Team Leader – FST – EDP-DDG Team

  • I manage a Team of 6 Senior Technical Writers and I also participate in Working Group for Entry into Service of new Aircrafts/Fleets, End of Lease Projects, new systems implementations or upgrades
  • Key Accountability: Administer and oversee the revisions process to the Aircraft Maintenance Suite of Manuals for all Qantas Mainline Aircraft Fleet, within regulatory timeframe
  • Administer and oversee the revisions process to the DDG (MEL, De-icing procedures, Configuration Deviation List, ETOPS Manual, Fuelling Manual)
  • Assess the impact of revisions to AMM Clearance Checks, Supplemental Manuals etc, by engaging Fleet groups and MROs to assist when required for prescribed changes and gaining appropriate endorsements and approvals
  • Coordinate Aircraft onboard copy of Manuals revision and successful publication in the documentation management system (DMS) Participate in self audits to ensure that any issues are detected are corrected
  • Define and manage training plan for Team in accordance with department training plan Participate in performance discussions and report on work status and KPIs
