People & Culture Leadership
· Ensuring the effective distillation of Bindaree Food Group’s Mission Station and Values throughout existing and proposed people and culture systems;
· Holding leadership accountable for the culture promise: work with leaders to ensure business decisions and processes are consistent with a high-performing culture of care and accountability;
· Building and developing the People and Culture team and ensure the integrity and continuity of high-quality services to all internal client groups;
· Ensuring P&C team are following correct processes including terminations, abandonment, absence management etc.
· Challenging the status quo and provide strategic advice regarding the ongoing improvement of human resource systems, policies, processes, structures and people;
· Developing and implementing strategic plans for the management of organisational change (including the timely allocation of appropriate resources);
· Escalate issues and raise potential opportunities with the Head of People & Culture;
· Act as a senior member of the group P&C team, identifying opportunities for improvement of processes, policies and practices.

Talent Management
· Identifying and managing critical roles (including succession and talent management);
· Creating future-focused processes for attracting, developing and monitoring talent in order to meet future business demands;
· Review effectiveness of recruitment and induction processes;
Training & Development
· Working with the Organisational Development Manager to deliver training and development programs for leaders;
· Works with the Training Improvement Lead to ensure appropriate training is in place to meet skilled manning requirements;
· Ensuring workers are adequately trained to perform their roles safely and in line with food safety standards and safe work instructions.
Workforce Planning
· Leading and driving a sustainable work force planning model for the site, including providing regular reporting to Senior Leaders & Executive;
Identifying and implementing strategies and initiatives in order to improve workforce turnover, absenteeism, employee satisfaction, and employee productivity.
Plant manning and labour cost management to meet budget requirements.
· Review and manage trends in attendance and absenteeism;
Employee & Industrial Relations
· Providing a framework for complaints and grievances and promote collaborative employee relations across the site;
· Conducting workplace investigations into inappropriate behaviours and complaints;
· Providing industrial relations advice and ensure the organisation operates in alignment with State and Federal legislation;
· Maintains positive industrial relations across site and makes decisions in line with relevant legislation that does not compromise the Company;
· Ensures appropriate Worker Compensations programs are in place and managed;
· Ensure the Workers compensation system is administered in line with the legislation applicable and with company policy ensuring workers compensation claims are processed and managed properly;
· Identifying opportunities to enhance work-life balance and flexibility and promote a fair and equitable workplace;
