  • Set up the operation of both control rooms including training staff, Local Operating Procedures and Post Duties.

  • Set up key control and accountability procedures at Dawn De Loas Correctional Centre. Itemized key lists were set up for spare keys, key sets were assigned to posts, response sets were established, and a daily armory check lists was established. These changes brought procedures in line with departmental policy.
  • Streamlined Daily Security Requirements by designing digital documents that staff could complete electronically and forward to FM Security for verification and storage on EDRMS.
  • Designed electronic journals that staff could complete daily and store on the M drive and be verified by FMs responsible and saved on the EDRMS.
  • Whilst acting into the role of MBU Print I was able to implement a uniform and more accurate quoting system so the print units were more competitive with external print suppliers. I also submitted a business case to buy a Flexographic printing machine for $320,000 for Wellington Correctional Centre Print unit which generated around $700000 in turnover per year with a 45% profit margin.
